Imagine Indiana's lush countryside, where historic Hoosier barns stand as reminders of our agricultural heritage and the grit and determination of our forebears. That was the vision of Mauri Williamson and the fellow founders of the Indiana Barn Foundation.

Mauri, an agriculture preservationist, dedicated his life to farming and agricultural history. His legacy of educating barn owners and preserving farm heritage continues with the Indiana Barn Foundation’s Mauri Williamson Legacy Endowment.

We are proud to carry on Mauri’s work. He would have celebrated his 100th birthday in 2025. To honor his dedication to preserving Indiana’s heritage barns, the Indiana Barn Foundation invites everyone to contribute to the Mauri Williamson Legacy Endowment. From now through September 13, donations are matched dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.
