Tim Sheets grew up on a farm in Northern Indiana and had fond memories of playing in the old barn on his parent's farm at an early age. Many hay forts and elaborate tunnel systems were constructed in that barn. The love of barns never left him into his adult years and when he and his wife Beth had an opportunity to buy her parent's farm complete with a century barn they didn't hesitate. Currently they use the barn to house their herd of 70 alpacas. Recently the barn was selected as a top ten Indiana Bicentennial Barn and in 2017, their farm was honored as the recipient of the John Arnold Award for Rural Preservation given by the Indiana Landmarks Foundation.
Tim has developed websites for his alpaca and farm wedding businesses as well as for state and national alpaca associations. Along with the new site for the IBF, Tim created a website for Carroll County Heritage Barns.
